WELCOME!

We are so glad you chose Citracado Dental Group for your dental treatment.

Our practice here in beautiful Escondido, CA, accepts patients of all ages — we are here to help improve your family’s smiles. We have some information for you to read and forms for you to complete prior to your appointment.

YOUR FIRST VISIT

For New Patient exams in our office, you will typically be offered a short tour of the facility. You will meet with your doctor in a relaxed, private consultation room. Together, you and the doctor will discuss your needs and desires for your oral health. For patients of every age, we generally recommend an examination and necessary x-rays to determine the condition of your teeth and any needed treatment.

After your examination, the doctor will thoroughly explain what he’s found and what treatment is recommended. Questions about insurance and financial arrangements will also be addressed at this time by our treatment coordinator.

If this is an emergency or "limited exam" visit linked to a specific dental problem you are having, we will focus our attention on the area of concern. Depending on the issue and treatment recommended, we will do our best to perform the treatment the same day.

Please arrive 15 minutes ahead of your scheduled appointment time to fill out necessary paperwork. If you would like to complete your paperwork beforehand, we can text or email you a custom link to your new patient information.

PAYMENT

Our office accepts cash, check, CareCredit, and most major credit cards

INSURANCE

We accept most dental insurance plans. Our staff will prepare all the necessary forms for your dental benefits. However, please remember that your specific policy is an agreement between you and your insurance company.

Please know that you are responsible for your total obligation should your insurance benefits result in less coverage than anticipated. Our treatment diagnosis is based on what is best for you. Your benefits are contracted between your employer and your insurance company.
