Preventive Dental Hygiene

Our patients love the feeling of a clean healthy mouth, and so do we. Our hygiene team members are amazingly skilled. With the knowledge and proper plan in place you are sure to maintain a long lasting, healthy smile. At each visit, our dental hygienists will remove tartar and plaque, and polish your teeth. Your dentist will examine your teeth and perform an oral cancer screening. If you have any questions regarding maintenance of your oral health at home, ask your hygienist.

Sedation Dentistry

We provide sedation dentistry in a variety of forms, depending on your needs and comfort. Some options include nitrous oxide sedation or oral sedation with prescription medication. General anesthesia administered by a licensed professional may be available for complex procedures. Please feel comfortable discussing your dental anxiety with any member of our team.

Your comfort is our priority!

Periodontal Health

For those patients with gum disease, or periodontitis, a deeper cleaning such as scaling and root planing may be necessary. In addition to removing bacteria along with tartar and plaque, we make the surface of your teeth smoother so that bacteria have a tougher time sticking. We may also use adjunctive therapies such as a laser, antimicrobial rinses, or localized antibiotics for best results.

Periodontitis has been linked to systemic disease such as heart disease, diabetes, and stroke. We want to keep those gums healthy!

Cosmetic Dentistry

Cosmetic dentistry covers a range of services designed to improve the way you feel about your smile. Services include teeth whitening, bonding, veneers, tooth-colored fillings, Invisalign orthodontics, and more. We are able to give you a digital image of the smile you have always wanted. With payment plans for any budget, the smile you dreamed of is truly achievable.

Invisalign® Orthodontics

Invisalign® is the transparent method for straightening teeth. A series of clear aligners are used to move teeth without traditional braces. The Invisalign® difference is in the SmartTrack material which gives extra comfort and allows for ease of use. Invisalign® is recommended for most adult orthodontic needs.

We will provide an estimate of the cost and outcome of your Invisalign® treatment. You will also see a sample digital image to preview the treatment results!

CEREC® Same-day Crowns

We use revolutionary CEREC® technology to take a digital image of the tooth needing a porcelain crown. We use computer software to design the perfect crown and then actually create a porcelain crown right in our office. This eliminates messy impressions and time in temporary crowns. Offering CEREC® same-day crowns is cutting-edge tech that saves you time. You can now restore your teeth conveniently, comfortably, and beautifully.

Teeth Whitening

Professional teeth whitening can dramatically improve the look of your smile. Stains due to medications, coffee, wine, or smoking can leave a negative first impression. Come on in and let us whiten your smile!

Veneers

A veneer is a thin layer of porcelain bonded to the front of the tooth to correct color, misalignment, and general improvement of the appearance of your smile.

Metal-Free Crowns, Bridges, and Fillings

Nearly all of our restorations closely match the color of your teeth. Although natural in appearance, these restorations are strong, comfortable, and long-lasting.

Dental Emergencies

Dental emergencies can be frightening and painful. During office hours call us at 760.489.5545 and we will get you in to see one of our staff as quickly as possible. After hours, our voicemail will provide emergency instructions for contacting us.

Dental Implants & Restorations

Dental implants are one of the best ways to replace one or more missing teeth. They offer a strong, long-lasting, and natural-feeling solution for a missing tooth space. Dental implants can also be used to provide anchors for complete or partial dentures, or as a base for a full-mouth implant bridge!

Myofascial Pain (MFP) Therapy Protocol

If you suffer from aching, throbbing pain during the night, at meals, or have difficulty opening your mouth, let us know. We provide treatment for the overworked muscles of the face and jaw. Treatments include physical therapy, a bite guard, relaxation techniques, and medication.

Endodontic Therapy (Root Canals)

If a cavity reaches the inner pulp of the tooth, an infection may occur. This situation requires a root canal. The infected pulp must be removed and the inside of the tooth cleaned of all bacteria. The inside of the tooth will be sealed to prevent the infection from returning. Additional treatment will be necessary to protect the outside of the tooth from decay and fracture.

Dentures

Complete dentures are used to replace a person’s teeth when they are all missing or when their remaining teeth need to be extracted. Removable dentures are designed to restore the function and beauty of your smile. All dentures are custom for each individual patient and fit comfortably and snugly. You may be a candidate for an “All on 4” which is a more permanent solution to removable dentures. An “All on 4” is a denture fastened to four strategically placed implants on each arch. They are removed at your regular hygiene visits for cleaning.

Sleep Apnea

Sleep apnea, a condition in which breathing stops for a period of time during sleeping, is increasingly being treated by dentists. We can evaluate your case and, if appropriate, create a dental device to keep your jaw and soft tissues in a better position to stop apneic episodes.

Sealants

Sealants are generally placed on permanent molars once they have erupted in a child’s mouth. The sealants are long-lasting and help prevent decay throughout childhood. A sealant is a resin in liquid form that can coat the crevices in molars to block acids and plaque, preventing wear and decay.
